Hutchinson Island Condos- Ocean Village

Ocean Village condo sunrise

The weekend ended early for me but I still enjoyed several days at the Oceanhouse condo in Ocean Village on Hutchinson Island. Awoken by the beautiful sunrise each morning how can you not want to jump out of bed and run down to the beach for a quiet walk and enjoy the morning hours.  Come home and enjoy breakfast on the patio watching the reflections of light off the still ocean. You may see a dog or two at playing on the beach while eating breakfast. The fisherman are usually out there getting an early start but as you walk the beach you can look for evidence of Sea turtles nesting on the beach from the previous night.

After breakfast it was time for a bike ride up the island to the Fort Pierce Inlet and down along the waterway which has both a bike path and a walking path. The sidewalk ends at a local restaurant and then it is off across the bridge to the Farmers Market for a quick walk around for fresh vegetables and other treats. I placed an order for new bar height table and chairs for the patio and the hand built cypress chairs are beautiful and much nicer than anything you could buy in a store at half the price. Many local vendors sell arts and crafts while another favorite is the local bakery. Back across the bridge and we pass Harbour Isle a waterfront condominium project built in 2005  which has it’s own marina and wonderful river views.

Back down through the Old Florida homes into Thumb Point which is a waterfront community that is surrounded by the river. Much larger homes than many of the other beach communities that were built back in the late 50’s or early 60’s.  It seems so strange to see what Old Florida was. It is a great change from the craziness of Palm Beach County. After were returned back into the Aruba pool for a quick swim and the morning is over. Oceanfront condo living on Hutchinson Island couldn’t be better.

The vacation is over and back to Jupiter real estate once again. Both are fun places to live yet very different and with Hutchinson Island just a short drive from Jupiter it is an easy vacation get away. I met several people from Boca Raton and Wellington staying there this weekend.
