After the holidays it was great to see the beautiful South Florida sun while enjoying a beach day at Ocean Village in Hutchinson Island. With 3000 ft of beach there are never crowds even during the holiday breaks. With a main pool and clubhouse as well as several satellite pools you never feel like your are overwhelmed with crowds. From our Ocean Village oceanfront condo we have a short walk across the dune to this beautiful beach. With people fishing, and others enjoying a relaxing day at the beach we still had plenty of beach space for all.
Morning walk on Hutchinson Island
Started the day with an early morning walk with Luna and River our German Sheppard and Australian Sheppard puppy. We met some of the neighbors who brought their dogs for a morning beach walk as well. It is a great way to start the day for all. The dogs ran and ran until they could run no more. They come home and sleep the rest of the day. Many of the local fisherman were out starting their day looking for a Sunday fish dinner.
After an enjoyable day on the beach we were off to a favorite restaurant of mine On the Edge which sits on the Fort Pierce Inlet. What a great spot for a drink and dinner. The food is always good and the whole dining experience is always wonderful. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the water views. Make sure you stop by and visit On the Edge when visiting Hutchinson Island.
